Bookwurms #2

Reading challenges my thinking. It challenges my perspective on the world and can flip my whole belief system upside down in a few sentences. The beauty of words, ideas and views on the world from great minds are just a treasure to dive in to and learn from. There are so, so many books out there that I want to read that I can hardly keep up sometimes. But the key is not to rush through them. The key is to absorb, contemplate and integrate. These three beauties have recently turned my world upside down and opened up my consciousness in new ways:

The code of the extraordinary mind - Vishen Lakhiani

Vishen is groundbreaking in the way he sees our society today and how we can evolve further. It's time to let old systems go and progress our world to the next level, starting with your own life. This book will have you question EVERYTHING and unpack your whole life to then afterwards put it together the way if fits YOU. Redefining happiness, success and so much more. It's about consciously engineering your life and the world around you. Listening to the audiobook I have jumped around countless times from excitement, it shifts paradigm after paradigm.

The big leap - Gay Hendricks

This book came to me when I was trying to break through certain habits and patterns, but couldn't quite seem to burst through them just yet. We all have those moments where things kick off amazingly and then we fall back. Whether it's losing that bit of weight and then gaining it again, or getting into an amazing relationship but then you straight after lose your job. It's like we all have an upper limit of success and happiness we think we deserve, and once we get above that upper limit, we get uncomfortable and (un)consciously cause pain, worry, suffering in that or another area to bring ourselves back down again. The big leap flipped it all around for me. Seeing where you are limiting yourself, how to break through limiting beliefs, how to spot when you are growing and starting to work against yourself and how to break through the glass ceiling that we hold ourselves under. Get ready to launch your life forward, the book is an eyeopener and huge tool to take your life to the next level!

The power of intention - Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

I've just finished the power of intention and it's so, so powerful. Realizing how we truly create our lives by our thoughts, words and beliefs might be the biggest shift that I've had in the past year. Living with intention and always looking for alignment is the whole key to living a fulfilled, abundant, happy life. This book will help you understand the power of this all, how to practice living with intention and how to shift your reality. 'When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change'. All you desire is available for you, right now and this book will help you see what's already there and attract more of it. I've read passages again and again, really integrating what I was reading as Dr. Dyer writes pure magic.
